This is much more than just a competition however, this event is really about bringing the community together through the transformative power that is dance. Having the chance to see dancers both young and old bust out their best moves for the benefit of the crowd is a sight to behold. It is amazing to see the community come together and rally around these amazing groups of dancers.
Ezell's Loves To Give Back
Ezell’s Famous Chicken has been a sponsor of this event since its inception, which just happens to fall on the same date as our own anniversary. 35 years of chicken and dance competitions! Our legacy sponsorship helps the event in any way it can. We are so excited that all proceeds of the competition and ticket sales are given into the non-profit program 100 Black Parents. This is a local program designed to engage African American parents in the lives of African American students and the diaspora that surrounds them.
